Proud Dad

Allow me to brag on my oldest son. Since October, he's been practicing for the role of Daddy Warbucks in our school's production of Annie. Then, at the first of November, he went to tryouts for the bantam basketball team, and won the job of starting point guard. Since then, he's worked pretty much 12-hour days to do both, while also serving as Student Council president for our middle school and also kept his grades up. This past week he had two dress rehearsals, two shows, and three ball games. The play was awesome, and he also averaged about 6 points and 4 assists in his "spare time." I'm very, very proud of him. The picture is him with "Annie" on his knee right after they sang the duet "I Don't Need Anything But You."

David was awesome in the play the other night! The way he looked in that suit and with the hair done the right way I think I would vote for him for President!!!! You have lots of reasons to be proud of David, he is a great guy.

Yes, I also find myself being continually impressed by David. Like Tommy said, there are many reasons to be proud of him. He is an awesome kid/person/guy. But, how could he be otherwise with such an awesome family? :)
